Prices
All prices are stated in British pounds. If you are an overseas customer, the amount you pay in your own currency will depend on the current exchange rate. For up to date conversion details go to our currency converter on the right menu.
Taxes
Customers DO NOT have to pay any extra tax on their items; VAT is already included in the pricing. Customers outside the EU may be required to pay additional customs charges by their countries customs and excise. As we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, any additional charges for customs clearance must be bourne by the customer.
Sizes
At Tokyo-Royale, we try to cater for UK sizes 6 to 24. All imported items will have the sizes converted to UK sizes before being put on sale. If you are unsure of your size and would like help to find your correct size or would like to know specific measurements for an item, please contact Kira at tokyoroyale@yahoo.com
Minimum order value
Orders must be for £10.00 or more. We reserve the right to cancel any orders under this value.
Methods of payment
We accept: Paypal, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard, JCB, and Switch online over a secure server handled by Paypal.com. If you wish to pay by Personal Cheque (UK), Postal Order (in £ British pounds only), or Money Order (in £ British pounds only) please contact us for details.
Delivery
All our items are delivered 2nd class standard by Royal Mail. We offer free delivery to all our UK customers.
Please allow 3 to 5 days delivery for in-stock items within the UK or 4 - 5 weeks outside the UK. For items which are out of stock or custom orders please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery, dependant on the complexity of the garment. Customers will be notified when their garment is finished by email. We take pride in our packaging and like to ensure that all Tokyo Royale items reach their destination securely and in perfect condition. If you would prefer your item to be delivered first class or by recorded delivery, just change the delivery option when you check out.
Returns
*PLEASE NOTE: All postage for items returned MUST be paid by the purchaser*
Customers in UK, Europe and worldwide have a statutory cooling off period of 7 days, this means that you have 7 days after the receipt of your order (or part order), within which you are allowed to change your mind if you are unhappy with your item and return it to us for an exchange or credit note.
However, in order to be accepted there are a few conditions. Returned items must be UNWORN, unwashed and not damaged by the customer, they have to be in a re-salable condition so please be careful when unpacking and repacking and especially cautious of make-up or deodorant marks when trying on.

*We absolutely will NOT accept returns in soiled condition or items which have been tampered with by the customer.
*Made to measure items are excluded from the cooling off guarantee.

We are happy to exchange a garment for another size but please bear in mind-if item is not in stock there will be a delay while we make it for you or offer you a similar item- this will also incur a further postage charge unless the sizing is incorrect on our part.
Please check the size and condition of your item upon receipt. We ask that customers contact us by email within 7 days of receipt if they wish to return an item.
Returned items must be in the post by recorded delivery to us within 14 days of their receipt for the promise to be kept. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost when not sent using recorded delivery.
Please mark all returns as UK RETURN to avoid any problems.
Faulty items
Here at Tokyo Royale we want our customers to be happy with our products.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you experience any problems, but please do so within 7 days of receipt.
In the event that the problem has arisen due to faulty manufacture or materials we will repair or replace the item accordingly. We ensure to check all our items before we send them out. If, however, you do receive a faulty item from us you also have the option of returning it to us for an exchange or a credit note. Customers outside the EC please ensure that the parcel is clearly marked UK RETURN to avoid any customs problems. Any postage costs you incur for the return of a faulty item will be refunded to you. Please be sure to contact us within 7 days of receipt.
If an item is found to be faulty after being cleaned we reserve the right to have it tested before deciding whether to refund. If it is found that the cleaning instructions were not followed we shall not give a credit note or exchange the item. If you wish to receive such a garment back you will be asked to pay the shipping costs.
Cancellation
If you choose to cancel your order before it is dispatched, you may be charged a percentage of the order as a cancellation fee. If the garment has been made up especially for you (outside the most popular sizes 8-16) -this charge will be up to 50% of the price of the garment. If the garment has not been made you will not incur any charge. If your order is delayed beyond the timescale originally quoted to you there will be no charge made if you wish to cancel. Customers outside the UK may not receive a full refund in their own currency as exchange rates can fluctuate. Refunds are made at the UK price paid. Exchange rate fluctuations can mean that you receive a refund which is less or is greater than the amount you originally paid in your own currency. |
